Liberal Dan Radio July 3, 2019: Democratic Debates and SCOTUS Rulings

On the July 3, 2019 episode of Liberal Dan Radio

The first round of debates took place last week. I will be discussing my feelings about how the candidates did as well as my overall opinions of the candidates and if they should really be running for President.

I will also be discussing the recent Supreme Court ruling and how we may very well be in the ending stages of the GOP coup.

Thursday is July 4th and Donald Trump is throwing himself a Soviet Bloc Party.

Those issues, your calls, and more this week on Liberal Dan Radio, Talk From The Left, That’s Right.

“Today is a beginning, not an ending”

Earlier today I was in a place where I was thinking of giving up on doing the Liberal Dan Radio podcast. Not just for today, but for good. That is basically how hopeless I felt about things.

That is until a friend of mine told me this: “You have to. Today is a beginning, not an ending”

That gave me the strength to get on the air. So I want to thank that friend for that. And during the podcast I realized an important thing. While I am Jewish and Trumps pandering to antisemites still terrifies me, there are many other people out there… friends of mine who have shared their fears today. People who may feel less than safe about speaking up during a Trump Administration about their fears and needs. Those people are going to need advocates. I can use my show to be one of those advocates. I can use my show to stand up and fight for others who do not feel comfortable standing up and being visible right now. So that is what I will do.

Liberal Dan Radio 3/16/2016:

Liberal Dan Radio 02/17/2016: Scalia’s death is a gamechanger

On the February 17, 2016 episode of Liberal Dan Radio I discuss the death of Scalia, his impact on the court, and the impact his death will have on the court itself and on the Presidential election of 2016. Call in with your favorite Scalia ruling or with your opinion on Senate hypocrisy on the issue of nominations.

So tune in at 8pm Central for Liberal Dan Radio: Talk From The Left, That’s Right.

Liberal Dan Radio 1/20/2016: Election 2016 Coverage

On the January 20, 2016 episode of Liberal Dan Radio:

Senator Bernie Sanders responds to the endorsement of Hillary Clinton by the HRC, Planned Parenthood, and NARAL by saying that his campaign is fighting the establishment. Senator/Secretary Clinton and those organizations all fired back. I will give my views on that story as well as some more commentary on why the infighting going on here could be disastrous for the election later this year.

In my debating the Cruz citizenship issue I found some more information to share on why he is eligible to run for President. Let’s beat him on the issues and not on manufactured attacks, ok?

Sarah Palin jumped into the fracas by endorsing Donald Trump for President. Is this going to make the election even more interesting? Youbetcha!

Those issues, tweet of the week, words of redneck wisdom, headlines, and more at 8pm Central on Liberal Dan Radio: Talk From The Left, That’s Right.

Liberal Dan Radio 1/13/2016: Never Quote Me The Odds!

On the January 13, 2016 episode of Liberal Dan Radio:

The record breaking $1.5 billion Powerball drawing is tonight. Do you have your tickets? I do have mine, but I also am seeing a lot of people out there with some really bad math. I will go over some of the crazy things I have heard people say when it comes to the Powerball.

The State of the Union Address came on last night. It was a really great speech and Obama hit it out of the park. I will go over some of the major points, the couple times the President stole my thunder and the one time I stole his.

Finally, when Liberal Dan Radio warned you about the dangers of the Michigan law that allows the Governor to install a city manager in “failing cities”, I never thought it would be a deadly decision. I will give my thoughts on these ridiculous laws and explain why this should prove the GOP is absolutely not the party of small government.

Liberal Dan Radio 08/26/2015: SKOOKS!

On the August 26, 2015 episode of Liberal Dan Radio the first half of the hour will be a random discussion of various topics from the past week. Open lines too if you have anything that you would like to discuss. Some topics include the bizarre notion that liberals are racist for supporting gun control and Donald Trump kicking a Hispanic member of the press out of his press conference.

Then at the bottom half of the hour I welcome on Jeffrey, author of one of the best New Orleans blogs: Library Chronicles (or as some call it, the Yellow Blog). He will be on to discuss more of #RisingTideX. It should definitely be an interesting show.

Those topics plus headlines, tweet of the week, and more at 8pm Central on Liberal Dan Radio: Talk From The Left, That’s Right.

Liberal Dan Radio 7/1/2015: Last week was an amazing week!

On the July 1, 2015 Episode of Liberal Dan Radio:

Last week was a historic week in our country. We had a ruling on Marriage Equality and a ruling on Obamacare Subsidies. I will be going over those rulings and what they mean.

Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal also entered the race to become the GOP nominee for president. People have underestimated him to their peril previously. So Liberal Dan Radio will be your  one stop shop to learn the facts about Bobby Jindal. This week I will go over the #askBobby hashtag and if there is time I will go over the exorcism that he took part in back in college. (If I do not have time to discuss it this week, I will definitely bring it up next week).

Those topics, headlines, tweet of the week, and more on Liberal Dan Radio: Talk From The Left, That’s Right at 8pm Central on Blog Talk Radio.

Liberal Dan Radio 11/5/2014: The Senate America deserves, not the one it needs.

Tonight is the Liberal Dan Radio election recap. I will be discussing mostly the big elections in the Senate and some Governors races. I will also briefly discuss some of the Louisiana issues that came up.

Who is at fault for the loss? Was this a referendum on Obama’s agenda? Were the Democrats too weak spined? Does it make sense that people voted Republicans into office even though Republicans had a lower approval rating than the President? And what will happen now that the Senate is controlled by the GOP?

Those questions and more tonight on Liberal Dan Radio: Talk From The Left, That’s Right.
