Why is Trump pushing hydroxychloroquine so hard? Is there a link to Michael Cohen?

In spite of his medical experts saying that any claims of efficacy are anecdotal and not found in any sort of clinical trial, Donald Trump is pushing the idea of the potential “miracle cure” that is hydroxychloroquine.

Early on in the pandemic, Trump believed that it would magically go away, like a miracle. So maybe he is simply trying to hang his hat on that. He does have a very simple mind and maybe that is all it is.

But he can act in nefarious ways. I have posited on Youtube and on Twitter that maybe he is pushing this miracle cure like a snake oil salesman because perhaps he invested in the companies that make the drug and is trying to make a quick buck by pumping the stocks up and then dumping them. I have no evidence that he has invested in these companies but I wouldn’t be surprised if he had.

But there is another nefarious reason here if you connect the dots. Norvartis, a company that makes the drug, paid Michael Cohen over a million dollars to do work that Cohen proved “unable to do”. Novartis believed Cohen ““could advise the company as to how the Trump administration might approach certain U.S. health-care policy matters, including the Affordable Care Act.”

Michael Cohen plead guilty on 8 counts. He was Donald Trump’s lawyer for 12 years.

This doesn’t pass the smell test.

Liberal Dan Radio 04/01/2020: #RentStrike and #CoronaVirusUpdate with special guest @RebeccaforWA

On the April 1, 2020 episode of Liberal Dan Radio

A continued discussion about the Corona Virus Pandemic, how this administration continues to fumble the ball and take no accountability, and what is going on at the local and national level.

And then at the bottom half of the hour I welcome Rebecca Parson, candidate for the WA-06 Congessional district. We will get an update on her campaign and then have a further discussion about rent. Affordable housing is one of the main focuses of her campaign. She supports universal rent control as one way to help people get housing. But on the day of the national rent strike, we will discuss how housing issues become even more vital to deal with during a pandemic. We may even discuss what I had brought up last week by looking at section 8 and if it really helps or hurts low income people seeking housing.

Those issues and more on Liberal Dan Radio, Talk from The Left, That’s Right. Wednesdays at 8pm Central on Blog Talk Radio.

I will be discussing the horrible mishanding of the pandemic by this administration in the first half hour of the show.

And then in the bottom half of the hour I will be discussing the topic of if rent is theft. Last week I discussed the idea of taxation being theft. This week I consider theft from the other side of the aisle.

All those topics, your calls, and more this week on Liberal Dan Radio: Talk From The Left, That’s Right.

Liberal Dan Radio 3/18/2020: Is Taxation Theft?

On the March 18, 2020 episode of Liberal Dan Radio I will be discussing the Corona virus outbreak. What is new and what is problematic. Why is Trump handling it so badly.

I will also be discussing the 2020 Democratic primaries. Are they over yet? Is it worth it for Bernie to stay in the election?

And at the bottom half of hour number one, I will be bringing on Dan “Taxation is theft” Behrman on the show. He is a candidate for President running in the Liberarian primaries. I have some questions about how the primaries work for the Libertarian party and I will also have a discussion with him about his platform, including how it relates to the Covid 19 outbreak.

All this and more on Liberal Dan Radio, Talk From The Left, That’s Right.

Liberal Dan Radio Date TBA: South Carolina Debate, Corona Virus, and more

On the February 26, 2020 episode of Liberal Dan Radio

The Democratic Primaries are heating up, and with Super Tuesday around the corner, what candidates are going to be getting the inside track on the nomination? I will discuss that here as well as a discussion about common misconceptions about how these primaries work and why I believe the primary states are still undemocratic.

Also, I will be discussing a topic brought up by someone on Twitter as it pertains to the Corvid19 and today’s holiday. Trump has also made an announcement on who is in charge of handling the virus in the USA and we should all be terrified

Those topics, Words of Redneck Wisdom, and more this week on Liberal Dan Radio: Talk From The Left, That’s Right.
