On the October 26, 2016 episode of Liberal Dan Radio I will be discussin Donald Trump’s 100 day contract on America. I will go into what he lists on his website as his plans and explain why some of the ideas are just ridiculous, why some prove he is not prepared to be President, and I might even agree with one or two… well one.
If time allows I will go into other details of this election.

When oppressed people have the playbook of bigots, don’t shut them out, listen to them!
In recent days some people who I considered to be friends have described me as “nuts” or “delusional” for being concerned about the Donald Trump candidacy, especially in light of his using propaganda from white supremacist websites. Some people even asked if I really believed that it could happen here.
OF COURSE it can happen here. It can happen anywhere! And it is much more likely to happen when people who have never had to deal with bigotry in their lives silence those who have. There are people who are members of various oppressed minorities. The levels of oppression have differed over the years. But they have still seen things and experienced hatred that the privileged class has not seen before.
Let me be clear, if you are fortunate enough to have been born into a setting where you haven’t experienced hate and bigotry then I am happy for your good fortune. However, other people have not been so lucky. And I become less and less happy about good fortune when you not only ignore the please of people who have seen the hate and bigotry, but you actively seek to silence them. I was told by one of my friends that he was concerned about my paranoia and that I should “get off social media”.
My experiences are far from the worse being experienced today in the United States. I was raised Jewish. I learned in my Hebrew day school all about the Holocaust. When my teacher (who had survived the Holocaust) had to leave the room during Holocaust presentations, that effected me to my core. The human brain cannot fathom the atrocities when it hears that millions of people died. But it can definitely see the pain of one soul who lived it. I had people act in horror when an ex girlfriend told them that she was dating a “jew”. I have seen and witnessed many examples of people who want to kill other Jews. It terrified us that a Louisiana election for Governor was between a crook and a former grand wizard of the KKK (and at the time we lived in Maryland). Despite all what I have witnessed and been through, I am still pretty well off comparatively on the oppression scale. But there is that little alarm in the back of my head that goes off when something seems wrong. And this Trump candidacy is sending off warning signals.
And it is not just Jews. Many other oppressed classes are sending up their own warning flares about what a Trump presidency would mean to them. Yet the non-oppressed classes just want to silence them.
I came up with a sports metaphor and I think it is fairly spot on. We have seen how people use bigotry rise to power. We have that playbook. We can go through it and see what the next move is going to be. We are jumping up and down, screaming that they are going to be doing a pass play next. Yet you insist on shoving 8 men in the box and defending the run when the other team has put 5 wide receivers out there. You lose the game that way. Well, we are fearful that we will lose the game here. We fear that the neo-nazis and white supremacists Trump panders to will have a voice in his administration.
If you ignore us and silence us, what will we be able to do when they come after you next?
#HesWithHer and @BernieSanders supporters are livid. More #BlackLivesMater discussion as well, Wednesday July 13th at 8pm Central on Liberal Dan Radio, Talk From The Left, That’s Right.
How did the endorsement of Hillary Clinton go over with the Sandernistas? Are people’s heads exploding?
Why is the #BlackLivesMatter movement similar to what we saw in China years ago. Why are we treated it so differently?
Why are police making it harder on themselves by curbing legal activities?
Those stories and more tonight on Liberal Dan Radio.

Donald Trump has made it clear what his feelings are about Black people, women, Jews, Muslims, LGBT, and Latinos. If you support him you will prove to me that you don’t give a crap about me or people I care about.
This is the line in the sand. If you don’t realize what a piece of garbage Trump is, open your damned eyes. Stop making excuses for racism, antisemitic behavior, or other forms of bigotry.
If you support him, we are done.
#AltonSterling #ClosedForEssence and #Potus2016 will be the topics for discussion tonight on Liberal Dan Radio, Talk From the Left, That’s Right. Wednesday at 8pm Central.
Alton Sterling was shot and killed by police. I will discuss issues pertaining to this shooting in a line of dead black people at the hands of police.
Essence Festival was in New Orleans last weekend. Some places were “Closed For Maintenance”. Is that legitimate? Or is that code for something else?
Also, several items are on the table for discussion in the presidential election, including the FBI deciding to not recommend charges and Donald Trump’s use of anti-semetic propaganda to further his campaign.

After Orlando, gun control has been in the news and I will be discussing that topic, both as a general issue and how it pertains to the Presidential election.
I will also be discussing Donald Trump, who his campaign needs to pick as a VP candidate, why he is in “yuge” trouble at the moment, and why the Democrats might do well by picking Elizabeth Warren as the VP pick.
I will also be doing an update on SourceFed and their lies about Google.

Liberal Dan Radio airs one hour later at 9pm central this week for a discussion of the remaining Democratic primary races. Bernie Sanders makes his final push to convince the superdelegates to change their votes to him. Hillary Clinton looks to secure enough delegates to be the presumptive nominee after New Jersey polls close. And voters on both sides are going crazy tearing each other apart in order to life their candidate to the peak.
Meanwhile Donald Trump gets a bump, but will it last? How will he run a successful campaign while pissing off the media the entire time?
The Libertarian Party already has its nominee, and to nobody’s surprise it was Gary Johnson. Does he have a chance this year? Or will he be a spoiler.

On the May 18, 2016 episode of Liberal Dan Radio:
Donald Trump said many things during the campaign that he is now walking back (or as we say down here in Louisiana, he is crawfishing). How many times do you think that will happen? I will review some of them.
Nevada was crazy over the weekend, with the 3rd tier in the 3 tier caucus process finishing up over the weekend. Bernie Sanders supporters are mad. But should they be? Or is it just missteps in a campaign that has been pretty well run for the most part? I know I discussed the south and why that is one of the reasons Bernie lost. I will go over a few others as well.

On the May 11, 2016 episode of Liberal Dan Radio:
I will be discussing the presidential election and what is going on with the Democratic primaries as well as the presumptive nominee for the Republican party.
Included in the discussion will be a continued discussion about the delegate math and why Sanders winning the nomination could cause more disruption in the fall than the #bernieorbust crowd.
If there is time I will also be discussing several of my new projects that I am launching.
